Page 26 Contd on pg 28 By Gregory Reynolds The theory that there are no more siz able gold deposits to be found near the surface of the T immins Gold Camp has been disproved by SGX Resourc es Inc While announcing that new high grade drill intersections have extend ed to the east SGX s Edleston Zone in Sothman T ownship company CEO Dale Ginn commented It is remarkable that sizeable gold deposits such as this still remain to be discovered near surface especially in the T immins region The Sothman land package containing the Edleston Zone is located approxi mately 60 km to the south of T immins between the Y oungDavidson Mine to the east and the Cote Lake deposit to the west SGX conducts additional explora tion at the T u lly deposit and property located approximately 25 km to the north of T immins As well the com pany holds a position in the Davidson T i sdale deposit and other strategic lands to the west and south of T im mins near current and past produc tion On Sept 19 2012 SGX said it has un dertaken an extensive diamond drill ing program on the Sothman property since September of 201 1 as a follow up to geophysical tar gets with the ob jective of locating near surface gold deposits Drill hole 12129 lengthened the Edleston Zone eastward by 100 me tres with two intersections consisting of 574 gtonne over 33 metres as well as 142 gtonne over 54 metres further down the hole Coarse visible gold was observed within each intersection at 2085 me tres and again at 2757 metres metal the high grade values The surrounding assays and core within the intersections were consis tent with the Edleston Zone in terms of gold values mineralization and alteration Since the discovery of the Edleston Zone at the end of last year drilling has steadily increased its size and di mensions in a consistent fashion ciable amounts of coarse visible gold as we move towards the east adding a highgrade component to the de posit while maintaining impressive widths near surface said Ginn Drilling continues in order to extend this zone along strike and to depths of up to 500 metres below surface as well as to test additional potential such as the Bud tar get located to the west and south along the south limb of the folded Edleston unit Consistent widths and grades contin ue to be encountered throughout the deposit and in extensions to depth Extensive magnetic VLF and IP sur veys have been conducted recently on the South T immins properties reveal ing numerous additional tar g ets in classic potential host structures Geophysical anomaly drilling for veinstyle gold tar gets intersected what is now known as the Edleston Zone with drill holes SL1 114 and SL1 116 in late 201 1 This discov ery is located in the northwest quad rant of SGX s claim group within the Sothman T ownship and has road ac cess via Pine Street extending south from T immins The deposit dips moderately steeply to the south and strikes roughly at an azimuth of 100 degrees or eastsouth east Over 75 drill holes have been com pleted to date along 50 metre spaced sections outlining a mineralized zone approximately 100 metres wide and over 600 metres long to a maximum depth of 250 metres while the zone continues to remain open in all direc tions Regionally this property appears to lie along the potential western ex tension of the CadillacLarder Fault Zone along which a number of ma jor gold deposits are located Recent geophysical and geological work has demonstrated that the Edleston Zone sits within the north limb of the host unithorizon that stretches over 10 km to the east Along strike to the east of the Edleston Zone by approximately 15 km lies the Sirola Zone which exhibits simi Near surface big gold deposits ar e still being found in T i mmins SGX hits new high grade drill intersection Clavos Resource Categories Oct 2012
