161 Other Accessories When a ftting comes loose from a pressurized hose or the hose is damaged, the hose starts to blow an exces - sive amount of air in an uncontrolled way , causing hose whip. This can cause injury , and damage to the work - piece and environment. A way to ensure that this doesn’t happen is to use an Air Fuse. It reduces the likelihood of potentially dangerous hose whip caused when a hose bursts or a ftting becomes detached. It quickly shuts of f the supply and resets automatically as soon as back pressure in the line downstream is restored. Air Fuses help to meet OS h A requirement 1926.302 (USA) and may eliminate the need for restraining or shielding hose, as required by European Standard EN983. • Reduces risk of hose whip, helping to protect personnel • Simple and reliable design • h igh life expectancy • Aluminium anodised body for high corrosion resistance • Auto-Reset to restart downstream activity with the minimum downtime Air Line Netw or k AIR FUSES P O R T S I z E P RE S S U RE DR O P A T S h U T O F F F L O W S h U T O F F F L O W R A T E A T 7 B A R T O O L M A X I M U M A I R F L O W F O R F L O W R A T E S P A R T N U M B E R ba r psi l / s c f m l / s c f m i n.
