Based in Quebec, National Bearings was a distributor of bearings, oil seals and power transmission components with fve branches in Quebec and one in Ottawa. Started by two entrepreneurs named Jack Denner and Dean Elliot in the 1950’ s, its sales grew steadily to approximately $8 million by the late 1970s.
