footsteps of his famous father prospector and mine fnder Donald McKinnon McKinnon and his partner John Larche staked the claims 1979 that led to three lar ge mines creat ing the Hemlo Camp Over the course of 2016 Orebod ies established itself as one of the lar gest mineral claim holders in the Hemlo area positioning itself to be an aggressive explorer in 2017 The company s two key projects in the area are referred to as the North Limb and W ire Lake Properties On Jan 27 Gordon McKinnon president and CEO of Orebodies said we are excited to commence trading on the TSX V enture Ex change The timing couldn t be better as Ca nadian Orebodies kicks of the start of an aggressive 2017 exploration program covering our Hemlo area properties T o lead our exploration eforts we have brought together some of the most senior personnel that were di rectly responsible for the discovery and development of Hemlo The company is now well funded and well positioned for an exciting 2017 with a veteran geological team and highly prospective underex plored properti es in a historic mining camp As of Oct 31 2016 the company had cash cash equivalents and short term investme nts totalling approxi mately 58 million The North Limb Property is located 45 kilometres northeast of the T own of Marathon Ontario and 17 kilome tres northeast of the W illiams Mine operated by Barrick Gold Corpora tion W ith the North Limb Property Ore bodies has consolidated for the frst time this historically fragmented ground into one lar ge land package Through acquisitions and staking programs Orebodies has assembled a lar ge contiguous land package to taling 428 claim units or 6800 hect ares along the northern extension of the Hemlo Greenstone Belt Prospecting programs were under taken during the summer and fall of 2016 on the North Limb Property and in late 2016 the compan y com pleted an 823 line kilometre airborne VTEM Max geophysical survey over the property The survey data combined with that of the prospecting programs and his torical information has generated several new high priority drill tar gets W ithin the North Limb Property is an area covering 78 claim units referred to as the T ongue The company says this area has seen no exploration since the initial Hem lo gold rush in the 1980s and has no record of ever being drilled The company s interest in the T ongue lies in the belie f that it is interpreted to be directly upice from the angu lar foat of mafc volcanic material found to the southwest in 1994 that assayed up to 162 gpt Au the source of which has never been located The W ire Lake Property lies 29 kilo metres to the northwest of the W il liams Mine and 40 kilometres to the southwest of the past producing base metal mines near Manitouwadge Orebodies has the right to acquire a 100 interest in 251 claim units cov ering approximately 4047 hectares that are located in the Hemlo Green stone Belt under an option agreement previously announced
